Puppies rescued from hurricane-devastated Puerto Rico looked like they were on the way to a healthy new life in northern New England. But ten puppies brought to New Hampshire and Vermont on Nov. 9 have potentially been infected with a bacterial disease known as leptospirosis and two of them had to be euthanized, according to New Hampshire health officials.
